Framed Abstract Acrylic Pour Painting – Charcoal, Slate & White, 5×5 Original Canvas in Black Wood-Grain Frame

Some paintings shout. This one speaks quietly and holds your attention anyway.

This original acrylic pour painting was created by hand at Shattered Layer Studio in Reno, Nevada. Charcoal, slate, and smoky teal were poured and pulled into fine, rippling layers that look almost like wood grain or moving smoke, with faint threads of copper running underneath. Cutting through the dark, two clean white shapes curve across the canvas. Some people see flames, some see feathers, some see something drifting through deep water. What you find in it is up to you.

The 5×5 inch canvas is mounted on a rich red felt backing and set inside a black wood-grain frame with an 8×8 inch display opening. The red against the dark pour gives it a bold, dramatic contrast. It’s displayed without a front cover so the texture of the pour stays visible and catches the light. The frame has an attached easel stand for desks, bookshelves, and mantels, plus a wall hanger if you’d rather hang it.

Because every pour is made by feel rather than from a set recipe, no two pieces are ever alike. This exact painting is the only one in existence, and once it’s gone, it’s gone. Each piece is hand-initialed by the artist.
