Framed Abstract Acrylic Pour Painting – Teal, Magenta & Orange, 5×5 Original Canvas in Black Wood-Grain Frame

Some paintings are calm. This one is all movement.

This original acrylic pour painting was created by hand at Shattered Layer Studio in Reno, Nevada. Bands of teal, magenta, bright orange, copper, and black were poured and pulled into long vertical streams that run the full height of the canvas, like paint caught mid-drip. Scattered through the color, soft white shapes float and break up the rhythm. Some people see rain on a window, some see a crowd of figures, some see a forest of color. What you find in it is up to you.

The 5×5 inch canvas is mounted on a clean white felt backing and set inside a black wood-grain frame with an 8×8 inch display opening. The white lets every color in the pour stand out. It’s displayed without a front cover so the raised texture of the pour stays visible and catches the light. The frame has an attached easel stand for desks, bookshelves, and mantels, plus a wall hanger if you’d rather hang it.

Because every pour is made by feel rather than from a set recipe, no two pieces are ever alike. This exact painting is the only one in existence, and once it’s gone, it’s gone. Each piece is hand-initialed by the artist.
